Working Principle
Temperature-Based Function Switching
Chilled Water Coils operate on the principle of heat exchange between water flowing through the coil tubes and air passing over the coil fins. When chilled water (40-50°F) circulates through the coil, it absorbs heat from the air, providing cooling. When hot water (120-180°F) circulates, it transfers heat to the air, providing heating. The coil can switch between these functions by simply changing the water temperature, making it versatile for seasonal applications. The coil is engineered to withstand operating pressures up to 250 PSIG and temperatures up to 300°F, with integrated safety systems for low temperature detection and pressure control.
